Venom: The Last Dance: A Few Happy Moments Before the End

The first teaser for Venom: The Last Dance, which appears to be the penultimate installment of Tom Hardy‘s symbiote trilogy that debuted in 2018, has been published by Sony Pictures. With Eddie Brock and Venom listed as wanted fugitives, it appears that the symbiotic team will be evading both humans and other symbioses. As a result, there are some major spoilers and hints for the future film in the latest Venom 3 trailer.

Venom: The Last Dance, starring Tom Hardy as the iconic Marvel Comics anti-hero Venom, is slated for release in October. That excludes Venom, though, from her fleeting appearance in the MCU at the conclusion of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.

Consequently, the top ten most significant teasers and disclosures for Venom: The Last Dance are included below, along with any references to Eddie and Venom’s brief appearance in the MCU. Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock appears in the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance wearing the same outfits he wore in Venom: Let There Be Carnage and in Spider-Man: No Way Home when he and his symbiote were unintentionally transported to the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to Doctor Strange’s poorly executed spell. Nevertheless, since Eddie was intoxicated in Mexico, Brock and Eddie were not there for the events in No Way Home.

As shown in the post-credits of No Way Home, Strange’s new spell caused the pair to be returned back, despite their original goal to locate Spider-Man.

Thus, it appears that Eddie and Venom will be in Mexico at the start of The Last Dance, before they come under the attention of a new military unit that is ostensibly entrusted with the research and containment of symbiotes. Furthermore, it appears that additional symbioses will be arriving on Earth. In light of this, it appears that Eddie will spend a large amount of the film wearing his Mexico attire and Crocs.

Our friendly neighborhood hero, Spider- Man, is unmasked and unable to distinguish between the hardships of being superhero and his regular life for the first time in his cinematic existence. When Peter Parker’s identity causes issues for the people he cares about, Tom Holland’s character in Spider-Man:  No Way Home turns to Benedict Cumberbatch’s character, Doctor Strange, for assistance. Sadly, as the spell goes awry, Peter is forced to confront antagonists like Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx’s Electro as he ultimately accepts that he cannot escape his identity as Spider-Man. With the aid of his close companions and assistance from an unexpected location (or universe), Spider-Man will square off against some of the most fabled adversaries in his storied history.

portion of Venom’s symbiote was left behind in the bar in the Marvel Cinematic realm, even though Eddie and Venom were transported back to their own realm at the conclusion of No Way Home. Thus, it appears that this made it possible for Venom and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to ultimately interact. But the Venom component appears to have different destiny in the teaser for The Last Dance.

The bartender from No Way Home (played by Ted Lasso as Cristóbal Fernández) is ready to contact the symbiote in the Venom: The Last Dance teaser before Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character traps it in containment tube.

Ejiofor, who is portraying military commander affiliated with recently established group that studies symbiotes, appears to possess the ability to move across realms, as evidenced by their subsequent appearance in pursuit of Eddie and Venom. That or—and here’s where things get confusing —the symbiote fragment really did return to different tavern in Venom’s realm, replete with perfect replica of Fernandez’s bartender.
